This is a strategic role to lead the transition of aviation vehicle fleet into a low carbon future with new technologies while optimising the existing fleet. This is whilst upholding vehicle safety standards. Job AdvertKey Accountabilities Global Vehicle Authority - Refuelling Vehicle Fleet TransitionLead the transition of internal combustion engine vehicle fleet to electric fleet.Lead the design, specification, development, and commercialisation of Electric Aviation Refuelling vehicles.Consult across operations on fleet management and contributing specialized knowledge associated with low carbon.Strengthen aviation vehicle supply chain for bp aviation by supporting procurement in establishing commercial agreementsAct and lead as the vehicle SME globally, manage and update as required the vehicle specificationsLead the vehicle replacement programme process annually for the procurement of new vehiclesOverseeing the development, testing, and implementation of technical solutions on vehicles to ensure solution meets defined requirements.Ensure accurate representation of expertise (e.g. Engineering, HSSE, Ops etc.) prior to the distribution of lesson learned for vehicle safety incidents.Chair the Global Vehicle Working Group to ensure vehicle standards upholds relevant safety requirements.Establish Fleet Management processes to optimise fleet utilisation within aviation drawing expertise from experienced team members.
