Position Type : Full time Type Of Hire : Experienced (relevant combo of work and education) Education Desired : Bachelor's Degree Travel Percentage : 0%About the teamThe Quality Assurance team are responsible for developing, implementing and performing independent oversight on operational processes, procedures and managing risk events, as well as acting as liaison between Risk & Compliance and the wider business.What you will be doingYou will be responsible for challenging the business to make improvements around service quality and to ensure that robust operational controls and processes are in place.Ensure that risk events are recorded, investigated and tracked to resolution with emphasis on significant incidents or trends.Collaborate with business, management and staff, dealing with risk issues, analysing processes, losses and risk exposure and sharing lessons learned.Undertake oversight on various operational areas and tasks to ensure that processes are being followed and are robust.Organising and assisting with the completion of external and internal audits.Ensure that any Continuous Improvement initiatives that areas of the business are working on are documented on the plan and challenge areas of the business to continuously evolve.Critical Function Log (CFL) oversight and reports thereof.Ensure that Platform Securities key vendor relationship oversight is undertaken monthly.Preparing and submitting Management Information, Key Performance Indicators and Key Risk Indicators.Ad hoc tasks as allocated by management.What you bring:Strong business and interpersonal skills are required.The ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing.Excellent organisational and time management skills.Experience and passion for driving forward change.Ability to identify process improvements and work with the business to ensure they are implemented.Ability to analyse and solve problems using learned techniques and tools with analytical and statistical examination skills.Attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality.Demonstrated ability to plan and accomplish work to ensure critical deadlines are met.Ability to create spreadsheets and demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office.Added bonus if you have:The job holder will ideally have held a similar position for the period of more than one year.Knowledge of the risk environment and control framework in the Financial Services Industry.Good understanding of the different functions / operational areas and regulationInvestment Operations Certificate (IOC) or equivalent CISI qualificationWhat we offer you:25 days annual leave + bank holidays.Stakeholder pension plan with employer contribution.Healthcare cash plan.Wellness reimbursement of £25 per month – to spend freely on everyday wellbeing.Life assurance cover - death in service benefit, full details will be confirmed upon joining.Occupational sickness payment.Flexible benefits – can opt into different benefit selections on an annual basis including the ability to buy annual leave.FIS corporate savings plan.Employee Stock Purchase Plan.Employee Assistance Programme.Global wellbeing programme through Virgin Pulse.Live well Campaign with lots of initiatives throughout the year.Privacy StatementFIS is committed to protecting the privacy and security of all personal information that we process in order to provide services to our clients.
