We are recruiting to make this vision a reality within the Business Payments Products Organization, to make the customer’s procure to pay experience delightful.Key job responsibilities• Ownership of the business credit product portfolio and strategy: Act as the business owner of our cobranded credit product for a European geography. Audit and report on input and output metrics on a weekly basis, looking at data trends from multiple angles. Possess a complete understanding of KPIs impacting the business. Work closely with the leadership (Amazon Business and B2B Payments) on strategy planning (including “three year plans”, yearly “operating plans” and local action plans) using the insights generated, to drive best-in-class customer experience and grow the business in terms of product adoption and engagement.• Project Management: Lead a variety of projects to drive growth and improve customer experience with the product. Develop a complete understanding of the customer through in-depth data analysis. Use those insights to propose innovative initiatives, features and solutions. Partner with cross-functional teams (retail product management, business intelligence, software engineers, marketing, legal, operations, customer service and other international partners) to prioritize, inform and analyze the initiatives. Track results (developing dashboards where needed) and impact of the projects and communicate to Leadership. Coach more junior team members supporting in those projects.• Business Development: Work with the Financial Institution partner to review portfolio metrics on a periodic cadence, identify short, medium and longer term opportunities including strategic investments to drive customer and Amazon value.This position involves regular communication with management on risks, financial and operational program metrics. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential. The ideal candidate will also have superior analytical abilities and a track record of finding practical, simple and creative solutions to complicated problems without sacrificing quality or core functionality.About the teamThe Business Payments Products team manages Amazon’s business cobranded payment programs. We are looking for a candidate with proven experiences in thought leadership, program management, and detailed execution to own and drive the growth of our business credit programs in International geographies. The successful candidate will own the overall portfolio strategy, setting the broad vision for execution and scale while simultaneously diving deep into the tactical details of initiatives leveraging exceptional data analytics skills. The scope of this role stretches across multiple Amazon organizations and requires close partnership with stakeholders with diverse backgrounds, as we look to create additional internal and external business opportunities, and further deepen the integration of our products with Amazon Business and external partners.Basic Qualifications • BA/BS or a Bachelor’s degree in an analytical, finance or related field (engineering, statistics, economics, business administration, etc.)• Few years of experience in payments or similar field and similar level of experience in Product Management, Finance, Statistics, Analytics, Business Intelligence or Consulting roles that have included extensive quantitative analysis• Hands-on experience developing and driving programs or projects with aggressive schedules• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions• Excellent project management, organizational, and technical skills• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, which includes excellent listening skills, concise communications, and targeting the message to specific audiences• Demonstrated ability to engage and influence people and teams at every level in the organization• Italian or French language proficiencyPreferred Qualifications • MBA or similar degree• Few years of direct P&L ownership• Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast paced environment• Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organizationAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
