Production Operative (Packing Department) £14.05 per hour | Monday to Friday | Day Shifts | Permanent Opportunity Are you looking for a long-term career within manufacturing? We are recruiting for a Production Operative to join a well-established and growing business within its Packing Department. The Role Working as part of a busy production team, you will play a key role in ensuring products are packed, processed, and stored safely and efficiently while maintaining high quality standards. Key Responsibilities Operate packing and production equipment safely and effectively. Load materials into production stations ready for processing. Carry out routine equipment checks and report any issues. Monitor product quality throughout the production process. Complete product sampling and quality inspections as required. Pack, palletise, band, and wrap finished products to specification. Transfer finished goods to designated storage locations. Complete production records and paperwork accurately. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment. Follow all health and safety procedures. Support the wider team and carry out additional duties as required. What We're Looking For Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or packing environment is advantageous. Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude. Good attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work effectively within a team environment. Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious. Physically fit and comfortable undertaking manual handling tasks. FLT experience is beneficial but not essential.
