Monitoring Engineer

I'm working on a Monitoring Engineer contract opportunity that I thought might be relevant to your background.
\n The role is fully remote, with occasional travel to the office 1-2 days per month, and offers up to £580 per day (Inside IR35), 6 months rolling contract.
\n We're looking for someone with strong observability and monitoring experience across technologies such as Dynatrace, Splunk, AppDynamics, APM, and SRE practices. A key requirement is holding a Dynatrace Associate Certification.

\nKey Responsibilities\n
\n

\n
• Design and implement monitoring and observability solutions.
\n
• Configure and support Dynatrace, Splunk, and AppDynamics.
\n
• Build and maintain dashboards, alerts, and visualisations.
\n
• Deliver APM, infrastructure, synthetic, and log monitoring solutions.
\n
• Support live services, incidents, and problem resolution.
\n
• Analyse performance issues and perform root cause analysis.
\n
• Work with architects and project teams to embed monitoring into new solutions.
\n
• Drive SRE and observability best practices.
\n
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and document solutions.
\n
• Support continuous improvement and monitoring tool optimisation.
\n
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
\n
