Due to further expansion, an opportunity has arisen for a HGV Technician to join their talented team, who's hard work is always recognised and rewarded. Essentially, you will already be an experienced technician with a formal, Level 2 qualification in heavy goods vehicle repair, be hands-on, pragmatic and diligent by nature and be excited by the prospect of a new challenge.

Some of the day-to-day duties for this role will include:

• Maintaining vehicles to the highest of standards.
• Carrying out inspections.
• Repair work.
• Roadside repairs to recover vehicles.

In return, my client is offering an excellent salary of £35,000 - £40,000, plus an excellent and unrivalled benefits package, including 31 days holiday (including Bank holidays), pension, retail discounts, family and friends discounted car scheme and discounted health care. Internal and external training programs are also readily available for those who want it.

The company runs on a two week rotating shift pattern of 6.30am - 16.00pm, Monday - Friday, for week one and 9.30am - 19.00pm, Monday - Friday, with a Saturday of 6.00am - 14.00pm, paid as overtime at a time and half, for week two.
