As a Working Foreperson, you will be responsible for ensuring projects run smoothly, safely, and to a high standard. You'll oversee site operations, coordinate multiple trades, and lead by example through your own trade skills and practical knowledge.

You'll:
\n
\n - Supervise day-to-day site activities, ensuring works are completed on time, within specification, and to Vesta's quality standards.
\n - Oversee site Health & Safety, ensuring full compliance with company and statutory requirements.
\n - Liaise confidently with Contracts Managers, Quantity Surveyors, and clients to ensure clear communication and smooth delivery.
\n - Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and schedules accurately.
\n - Manage and motivate teams of skilled trades and subcontractors.
\n - Take an active, hands-on role on site, setting high standards for workmanship and professionalism.

Requirements
\n
\n - Proven experience as a Working Foreperson (or Senior Tradesperson stepping up) in refurbishment and fit-out works.
\n - Excellent understanding of Health & Safety and site management practices.
\n - Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors.
\n - Confident reading and interpreting drawings and specifications.
\n - Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
\n - Punctual, professional, and reliable.

Essential Qualifications:
\n
\n - SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme)
\n - First Aid at Work
\n - Asbestos Awareness
\n - Valid CSCS Card
\n
\n
Preferred (not essential):
\n
\n - Basic or Advanced Scaffold Inspection
\n - Fire Marshal Training
\n - Skilled trade background - ideally carpentry, masonry, roofing, decorating, or similar.
